Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Cuddles & Trails Pet Services!
By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Our goal is to make sure every pet in our care — and every human we work with — feels safe, respected, and supported.

1. General Agreement

By using our services, you confirm that you are the legal owner (or authorized guardian) of the pet(s) listed in your booking, and that all information provided about them is accurate and up to date.

2. Pet Health & Safety

  • All pets must be up to date on vaccines and in good general health.

  • Please inform us of any behavioral concerns, allergies, or medical conditions before services begin.

  • If your pet becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will contact you immediately. If urgent care is needed and you can’t be reached, we’ll act in the pet’s best interest — including seeking veterinary attention if necessary.

  • Any vet costs incurred due to pre-existing conditions or unforeseeable incidents remain the client’s responsibility.

3. Cancellations & Scheduling

We get that life happens — and we’re proud to offer flexibility:

  • We don’t charge deposits or cancellation fees.

  • We simply ask that you give us as much notice as possible when canceling or changing a booking.

  • For overnight stays, a 3-day courtesy notice is recommended since our spots are limited and in high demand.

4. Home Access

For in-home visits, please ensure safe and reliable access to your property.

  • If keys or access codes are provided, they’ll be securely stored and used only for scheduled services.

  • If we’re unable to access your home due to a lockout or incorrect info, we’ll contact you immediately to resolve it.

5. Weather & Safety

We prioritize your pet’s safety above all else. During extreme heat, cold, storms, or poor air quality, outdoor services may be shortened, adjusted, or rescheduled.

6. Payments & Refunds

  • Payments are due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged.

  • We accept e-transfer, cash, or other agreed-upon methods.

  • Since we don’t require deposits, refunds are rarely necessary — but if a prepaid service is canceled, we’ll offer a full credit or reschedule at no cost.

7. Photos & Social Media

We love sharing happy moments!
By booking with us, you consent to your pet’s photo being shared on our social media or marketing (no client names or personal details will ever be posted without permission).
If you prefer not to have your pet featured, please let us know — we totally respect that.

8. Liability

While we take every precaution to keep pets safe and happy, Cuddles & Trails cannot be held liable for:

  • Accidents, injuries, or illnesses beyond our control;

  • Damage to property caused by pets;

  • Unforeseen events such as weather delays, traffic, or emergencies.

We’re fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind.

9. Communication

We believe in open, kind communication. If you ever have a question or concern, reach out — we’ll always do our best to make it right.

10. Agreement

By booking or confirming services, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to the above terms.
